  • The large group brainstorms issues and barriers to supporting girls in STEM activities that need to be addressed by the Midwestern Rural-Urban Collaborative: Possible topics may include:
    • How can rural and urban agencies collaborate to help each other?
    • How can effective assessment programs be developed?
    • How can effective mentoring programs be developed?
    • What are effective ways for schools/universities, community organizations, professional organizations, business and government to collaborate on STEM projects?
    • What are the funding challenges which must be met in order to make these collaborations work?
